Reviewed By IreneR463Super good food.a five course gourmet dinner with fish we had never heard of. Friendly staff and very good facilities for my little dag.Plus a fantastic wellness centre nearby. When asked for single beds, my daughter was with me, they changed our little room to the family room, which was larger and had single beds, free of charge. That is service. The staff are all smiling and friendly and make you really feel at home

Really good value for money
Reviewed By Amanda NWe enjoyed our stay at Stenbjerg Kro and our . visits to Thy National Park, which is easily accessible by car from there. Our room with bathroom was spacious and the beds were good (not too soft). There are chairs and a desk in the rooms and a terrace. We had lunch in the restaurant and can definitely recommend the "National Platter", where you'll try a selection of local specialities. We would have liked a small fridge to store beverages in and a real double bed instead of two single beds, that easily moved around. We also think the breakfast was a bit too basic compared to the amazing lunch we had in the restaurant. But those are details and we still recommend a night or two here.

Reviewed By AnserLincsAlso you must like, or tolerate cats, as the house is named Snow White after one of the owners adored cats. The house is 5 minutes away from Thisted by car. It is about 20- 40 minutes away from most of the beautiful areas of Thy National Park. It is a bungalow and you enter by the back door and have private use of a sizeable double room and a bathroom. There is another single room in the area which could also be rented. The rest of the house has a large living room ( with a grand piano, and a dining kitchen and garden. The owner Erling, has led an amazingly varied and interesting life and loves to tell you all about it ( his English is excellent). He also has had many guests from all walks of life (he lets out rooms in his part of the house too) and he loves to introduce them to one another, and make conversation and sometimes music. This is a wonderful place if you want to meet people. There were 5 other people there one of our evenings, mostly professional business people. Conversation was lively and good. Erling is very generous. He wants you to feel part of the house. Being the genial host is his life and he does it with enthusiasm. He will make breakfast for you if you order it. ( Extra cost). The accomodation was very reasonably priced. Erling does it for a hobby rather than a money making concern. A great experience

Reviewed By mgj240387Vi var et par tøser med heste, og vi nød vores ophold med hygge I vildmarksbad og dejlige omgivelser. Dejlige senge og god plads. God service og rent og pænt. Dejligt stort køkken og opholdsrum. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen med hest, forhåbentlig allerede næste år igen.

Reviewed By RommedahlEn liten bekväm stuga med allt vad man kan önska sig. Barnen älskade loftet med sovrum och vardagsrum med TV och Wifi. Stugan är utrustad med alla faciliteter man kan önska sig och gasgrill finns. Fin utegård med en stor gräsmatta. Tvättmaskin och diskmaskin finns också. Bra pris! 5 minuter till Thy naturområde och nära till byn Bedsted med snabbköp.

Reviewed By ThomasLauritzenGanske som i den tilstødende Restaurant Niels Juel er der tale om ringe service i forhold til bygningens få hotelværelser. Værelsets indretning er noget af det mest mærkværdige, vi har set: Udstoppede dyr og glasskabe med natsværmere på nåle konkurrerer med udslidte møbler, mørkegrønne tæpper og gamle panoramafotos af skovscener om at skabe en skummel stemning. Det kunne måske slippe afsted med at være pudsigt, hvis ikke der oven i købet var snavs og spindelvæv i krogene, uvaskede vinduer og en gammel skramlet brusekabine med halvstoppet afløb på badeværelset. Og skabene bliver brugt til at opmagasinere lagner og andet til brug i andre værelser... vi kommer aldrig tilbage!
