Clean - a bit noisy due to acoustics carrying sounds a little too well, but not so much you can't have a good nights sleep. Didn't eat in hotel seems okay but breakfast I'd skip, to to the Cafe opposite for much better food. Close to trains and buses and most importantly Svetlagorsks beautiful and dramatic sea front. Recommended.

Ok accomodation, good location
Reviewed By Evy HLocated close to the main street and promenade, but in a more calm part of the town. Walking distance from train station. Nice historic house with beautiful fassade and little garden. The hotel inside is renovated, the hotel rooms are clean, but they are not quaint, they lack a bit of style/design to make it more comfortable. We had the higher comfort room Nr. 33, for 3 people. The room is not very big but its sufficient if you do not spend to much time in the room. The bathroom is very spacious, the toilet has a strange soft seat and there is a bathtub, with a shower-hose, but you cannot hang it up anywhere to shower normally. Also you cannot stand up in the bathtub while showering, as the part of the roof is reclining there so you have to sit in the bathtub to shower which is not convenient. The shower pressure is bad and in the morning we did not have hot water, only lukewarm. The towels and bed sheets had an African theme (red/orange/yellow/tiger stripes) which is a bit out of place. You can ask for a tea pot at the reception to make tea. There is also a fridge. Our TV didn't work. NOTE: There was no wifi at all. The owner said that its not allowed to provide wifi by state law without registration via your phone, so they cannot provide it (though many other places in Kaliningrad area do, so its a bit strange as to why specifically they cannot). SO BE PREPARED - NO wifi. If you have beeline provider, then mobile internet works ok there though. The breakfast arrangements are a bit soviet. Upon arrival you get a piece of paper where you mark what you will eat for breakfast (you select one item from each category). And they have 3 breakfast times 9.00 - 9.30 and 10.00. When we were there 9.00 was taken by a group and was therefore not available any more. We had to leave early the next day so we asked if it would be possible to do 9.15 (which in the end it was, but be prepared you have to really come to a fixed time to eat breakfast). Breakfast was ok, yoghurt, eggs, tea or juices. Basic but good. The credit card terminal didn't work, so we had to pay in cash, so make sure you have cash, just in case with you. Overall, ok place, but would be nice if they would fix: wifi, warm water and maybe more flexible breakfast times.

Reviewed By ozarkultrarunnerWe stayed here for a week in June as part of a missions team. The hotel overall was very clean and the staff works very hard to maintain it. The decor is a bit dated, as compared to hotels in America, but I think this is kind of the style still for Eastern Europe. The room we stayed in was one of the nicer ones becuase it had a glass enclosed shower and had a small sitting area. Only one towel is provided so while my wife used it, I was stuck using the bath mat; getting an extra towel would have taken an act of congress. There were large landings on each floor with a sitting area and the team was able to congregate there after some long days. There is no elevator in the hotel, so it is quite an effort to get baggage up to the thrid floor. Wi-fi was on again / off again and did not have a very strong signal. We ate breakfast a few times in the cafe off of the lobby and the food was different, but good. A 10 minute walk to old town, so I consider the location good.

На территории беседка, гамак и зона с мангалом. Была здесь 12 лет назад, сейчас приехали с мужем и с удовольствием вернемся!
