Jungshoved Præstegaard is a family driven B&B and event venue. We put an honor into giving our guests a personal service and enjoy spoiling and caring for each guest staying with us. Our bright rooms are decorated in Nordic style with respect for our history as an old rectory. Our guests have direct access to Bøgestrømmen (Præstø Fjord), in which it is possible to swin, go kayaking og just enjoy the view from our small and cozy corner sheltered from the wind. Th ebreakfast is served in the old dining room, where the mother of the house, Anette, ceates a wide arrangement of local and global products, based on the contemporary Danish cuisine. For 6 months in 2019 I worked with Frederikke to plan our wedding weekend at the South Zealand Bed and Breakfast, Jungshoved Præstegaard. As well as one of the team and part of the family who owns and manages the inn, Frederikke is a professional wedding planning. We had nearly 40 guests attending and coming in from all directions globally, including ourselves all the way from Seattle. This was our first trip to Denmark. We wanted to celebrate in a setting that would delight both us and our guests but that would not be stuffy or suffocate our hoped for vibe with formality. And, we also wanted a setting that was authentic, possessed elegance and style while being easy going, cozy and intimate. Jungshoved Præstegaard fit all our wishes. Our dinner party was set-up at Jungshoved Præstegaard to follow our Saturday afternoon wedding ceremony at an old church north of Præstø. Since I live in the US, the entire time, Frederikke and I collaborated on planning from a distance via email and phone calls. She was a delight to work with, responsive, creative, and focused on the details. This included but was not limited to helping organize and source catering & cake, blocking guest rooms, transportation to and from the church, and many special touches. The church and ceremony itself we were required to book through another source, but the church would be well served to engage Frederikke as a site booker. On the appointed Friday in August 2019 our nearly 40 guests arrived at the Jungshoved Præstegaard. The big moment! Frederikke and her whole family were on hand to check-in and welcome my husband and I as well as our family and friends. Although due to the number Jungshoved Præstegaard could not accommodate all our guests with their own guest rooms, Frederikke helped secure B&B accommodations nearby and was on hand on Friday to check in all guests. At Jungshoved Præstegaard we had the entire place to our self for the weekend. Everyone was impressed by how Frederikke’s family embraced and welcomed all of us, fed us, and accommodated us so comfortably in the Jungshoved Præstegaard’s lovely picturesque rooms. All were moved by the lush, verdant and gorgeous landscape Jungshoved Præstegaard is set in. It is a special place. It turned out to be an amazing weekend: casual, unique, and easy going for all. After our wedding ceremony on Saturday, Jungshoved Præstegaard’s team managed our dinner party from beginning to end, and all that went along with it: the cater and the food, table settings, wine, drinks, and cake – of course, cake! They set bon fires burning for us and guests were happy and delighted, with generous and moving toasts flowing all night. As a bride and groom, we could not have asked for an anymore cozy (hyggelig), community- centric weekend to celebrate and mark a moment we very much wanted our friends and families to enjoy. Uniformly our guests concurred: a spectacular time was had by all! New friendships were made, and old ones reconnected. We all left smiling, impressed and touched by the hospitality and the sense of Denmark Jungshoved Præstegaard’s owners imparted and shared with all of us. Jungshoved Præstegaard and its proprietors were key to creating a deeply cozy, joyous and celebratory experience. Our guests unanimously felt the same. Words like, “magical” and “delightful” were said again and again all weekend. A foot note on the basics: Jungshoved Præstegaard Bed and Breakfast is sparkling clean, it is set in a romantic and picturesque landscape; they have a number of different style accommodations and most have private bathrooms; they serve a robust European-style continental breakfast and the staff is very personal and engaging. Good for groups, families, or just a couple wishing to get away for a few days of peace and relaxation. My husband and I look forward to visiting again and simply hanging out a few days, taking it all in again, chilling out, and sleeping in.

Reviewed By Stefanie HBellinge is a B&B run by Anne in an old and big farm house. Great home-made dinner is served and a nice and fresh breakfast!! Rooms are simple but clean with shared facilities. Anne is such an inspiring lady and we felt truly at home! It is a 20 min bike ride to the bike-route Berlin-Copenhagen!

We celebrated a family birthday spending a full day in the wonderful surroundings - talking long walks in the forrest, playing games and enjoying the cosy lounge on front of the fireplace. Lunch and dinner was exceptionally tasty, largely vegetarian - absolutely to die for! Would love to come back

Zleep Hotel Ishøj’s 42 rooms are located on the 8th and 9th floor in the Ishøj City Mall. Here we offer a wonderful view over Greater Copenhagen. The rooms are furbished in a simple design and contain, among other things, a great bed, a quality shower and a flat screen TV. Of course, you will also have free access to high-speed WiFi throughout the hotel. In the building is an S-train station from where you can reach Copenhagen in approx. 15 minutes. You will thus have easy transportation between the hotel and Copenhagen. The highway is just 500 meters away, and we have free parking by the hotel, making it easy to arrive by car. Down towards the beach, just 3 km from the hotel, you will find a beautiful area, full of nature. The Ishøj Harbor is the ideal place to enjoy an ice cream after a long day of sightseeing in Copenhagen. On the opposite side of the harbor is the art museum, Arken, which is definitely worth a visit when you are staying in Ishøj.

Reviewed By Bente3136Besøgte hotellet et par dage i maj. Dejligt værelse og flotte omgivelser. Selve bookingen via deres hjemmeside fungerer dog ikke. Jeg måtte booke to gange, også selv om jeg tastede kreditkort oplysninger og verificerede dem. Morgenmaden kunne godt opgraderes og kommer du sent, er der ikke meget at vælge imellem. For 2 dage siden bookede jeg igen 2 dages ophold til sommer, men ved kontakt til hotellet dags dato er bookingen ikke gennemført. Og nu med det resultat, at alt er optaget. Håber I får kigget på jeres hjemmeside.

Comfortable and cozy B&B in Mon
Reviewed By DomdadaMy family and I stayed in NyGammelsø B&B for a couple of nights during last week of May 2019. The owner was quite friendly and did her best to accomodate our wishes, such as giving a cot for our little daughter or switching rooms so that we could face the garden. The B&B allows you to use the kitchen and dining room, so you can prepare your own meals. The bathrooms are shared, but they are plentyful and very clean. There are lots of toys for kids to amuse themselves. The rooms also have a sink. The B&B was very peaceful and we had a great stay. The breakfast was hearthy and good, with freshly made bread by the owner. We highly recommend NyGammelsø B&B!

Very clean rooms
Reviewed By hillbillymansionThis was the perfect place for our group of six. We have three rooms and all were clean with nice bedding. We had traveled to Denmark for a wedding from America and were so happy with the location of the hostel. The church was less than 5 minute walk and the family of the bride lived a 15 minute walk. We would stay here again. Everything one would need is there to use, like an iron to press your clothes. The grounds are very nice and will cared for and it was a quiet place to rest after a long day of sightseeing.

Stevns Klint Strandpension is a newly opened guesthouse with 10 double rooms. It has a unique location with a stunning view of the fields, the East Sea and Stevns Cliff.The surroundings are nice with terasses and stairs to the beach and a lot og space.Inside you can enjoy the cosy living rooms.

Reviewed By BethH957This is a great place to stay and use as a launching pad for exploring Stevns Klint. The backyard is directly off the hiking trail up the coast and is well marked. The Strandpension rooms are spacious and well equipped. We opted for a room with a private bath, but there are ones with shared baths available. There is a full kitchen for use of the guests as well as shared common sitting rooms, decks, etc. A full delicious breakfast is located about 400m away at the full service inn. Check in and checkouts are simple and there was ample parking. One note -- you do need to go to the full service inn to check in, something not clear on our initial instructions.
