The room was small by American standards, but not so small by European standards. It was comfortable, however, be aware that many rooms are on the second floor and there is no elevator.

New hotel that offers everything you need as private or business traveler. High speed internet. At DET GAMLE RADHUS (The OLD TOWN HALL) we serve delicious food in traditional surroundings. We look forward to welcoming you in our restaurant, where we hope you will feel the atmosphere of being set back in time, when grandma was in the kitchen with the family. We have recreated the atmosphere of those days, when classic Danish dishes were created from scratch. The building is worth a visit.
Mixed experience
Reviewed By BartvKConsidering the high price, I expected more from the hotel in terms of service, facilities and food. For this price I would have expected at least a mini-bar and a safe. It is a pity that the office is not staffed. When we complained about the curtains which were not functioning well, it was solved too late (after two days with some lame excuse) and not properly. The breakfast was very basic the first when we were one the few guests. Later on when more guests arrived there were more things to chose from (among which some eggs and more kinds of meat). I would recommend to serve the same breakfast everyday, even if there are only a few guests. However, I have to say that the kitchen took very good care of my wife’s diet. To end with a positive note, we did enjoy our stay at the hotel, the room was comfortable and the birds sang beautifully.

Really nice stay
Reviewed By c0t0d0s0orgThis hotel is a few minutes away from the airport and Legoland. Nice and superclean rooms. The lady at the reception was super nice. The location is awesome. You feel as if you are in the middle of nowhere, in the nature, but you are close to everything. I really recommend it for example if you fly outbound from BLL in the early morning.

Traveling is all about a good experience, seeing things you normally don't, so this was for me a good place to stay. The property itself was clean and had a very large area to walk around the farm land.

Centre piece of a little village
Reviewed By AppleshagA charming little village near the coast which was ideal for our business trip to the Danish Army Combat centre. The hotel was right at the heart of the village and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food was really nice and the rooms were clean, tidy and had a modern feel. You have to remember that the village pub and bars shut at 2130 hrs during the week but was grateful for an early night and waking without the weary feeling in the morning. I would recommend it.

The management and staff were very polite and helpful at all times. I will be definitely be using Danhostel Sønderborg in the future.

Christmas stay at Siesta Vejle
Reviewed By Liz JWent to Vejle for a family Christmas and needed somewhere to stay close to the in- laws. Siesta Vejle is perfect. Close to the main shopping area and central to most of the amenities in the town. We stayed in a 2 bed apart type accommodation which was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Good kitchen and bathroom. Comfy beds. . Good coffee machine in kitchen and they even provided coffee pods!!! Will definitely return. Owners also very nice and accommodating. Danish efficiency at its best!

Very poorly
Reviewed By Felix DIt is not worth the money. We regret booking this hotel and wouldn't recommend this hotel anybody. The bathroom is way too small and extrem old. The window is not closing and there is nothing good in the room. It's not possible to sit on the toilet because the toilet stands 15cm next to the wall. After all I wouldn't book it again and we thought about checking out and book in the other hotel 250 meters away.

Reviewed By juniieejuneWe loved our stay here! The room is unique, log style.. Bed is comfortable with clean toilet. Nice view from balcony. Only downside is there are lotssss of flies! The owner & staff are very friendly. We had one day breakfast, it was enough varieties for breakfast. As for the restaurant: it is really amazing & delicious! Note: always make reservation because they are always full full full! We dined here for 2 nights and both dinner were really amazing (photos shown). Food we had: Starter: shrimp cocktail, salmon Main: minced meat, steak, jaegerschnitzel ???

Reviewed By Mareen MVery nice looking hotel, beautiful presented from outside. Unfortunately the bathroom had a horrible smell and it was not clean, the room wasn't hoovered either. Room itself lovely view and good size. No black tea on a Sunday morning available, half cut rolls for breakfast, probably from another table before. The restaurant was great, delicious dinner, great food. All in all not good value for money
