I would like to mention that they even helped us to keep our luggage after checkout and also provided a room to freshen up when came back to pick our luggage. That was the most humble gesture that i saw. Food is also very good in quality and cost. Very family and couple friendly with cordial staff.

A Quiet Stay with Family
Reviewed By Maqsud DI went to Mount Abu for my sports event with my senior citizen mother & wife. We do visit Mount Abu once or twice every 6 months so we have stayed at most of the premium properties available, this time we wanted to visit a new place, so we booked the Palace Hotel, Bikaner House for 2 nights. Location : 4 / 5 I like properties away from market at least in Mount Abu, its location is picture perfect, cool & calm for a relaxing holiday. Huge space for sitting outside the main heritage building is cherry on the cake. Service : 3 / 5 We checked-in during a weekend with high occupancy, I think there was some miscommunication in our reservation, I clearly stated that I am coming with a senior citizen so I want a nearby room, wheel chair access if needed but during check in I was allotted a room which was very far. So, we had to wait for an hour for other room which was comparatively nearby. Check in was not smooth, room service was below average, most of the time when you call for any service from room, no one use to receive the calls, had to call different departments to ask for our requirements. It took lot of time even for a small request. Restaurant service was above average, as it was very crowded during the meal time as they could not have enough tables for all their guests. Food : 3 / 5 Breakfast was served as buffet spread which was above average, limited items, okay presentation, very average taste. We even ordered lunch in our room, a non veg starter which was very average, a veg biryani which was absolutely a tawa pulao and not at all a biryani. I think they should really work on their entire menu, because the food is far better in other premium hotels nearby. Room : 4 / 5 They have old wing, which is old heritage structure, it has huge rooms. We were upgraded to grand suit room which has its private lobby, 1 huge bedroom room, a washroom with tub, 1 dressing room, 2 sitting room & a private courtyard to relax & chat in open sky. But let me tell you that this wing is very lonely, if you are okay with complete silence all the time only than book rooms in this wing. Room did not have any amenities, an old fridge, a kittle which was mal functioning. They provide toiletries which were not too good to indulge in. The property had an average Wi-Fi speed and our room had a well-functioning TV with limited channels. They also have new wing which has several rooms, but it’s far from the main wing which has restau area, so if a senior citizen stays in new wing, it actually becomes difficult to reach. Staff : 3 / 5 The staff were courteous, polite & sometime helpful. I asked one of the staff to help me to explore the property as I came for the first time, he clearly said “ jo hain yeh hi hai , aap dekhlo “, surprising ! Overall : 3.5 / 5 I would say that if you love a picture-perfect location, huge room and heritage value than it’s a good choice to give it a try. Definitely recommended if you want silent privacy during your stay.

Affordable Stay but far off from Mount Abu
Reviewed By kamalc2017This hotel is located on Abu Road near Railway Stn. and provided an affordable stay during our recent visit to Mount Abu (peak season). Hotel staff was very courteous and supportive during our stay. Food they served was good in quality, quantity and taste. This hotel is approx. 25-30 kms far from most of tourist attractions in Mount Abu which was informed well in advance by hotel staff before confirming the booking. We were quite comfortable with this as we enjoyed the scenic drive on the way to various attractions. Below are the two reasons for giving three star rating:- 1. We missed basic courtesy as there was no water in room when we arrived and few of guys didn’t bothered to knock the door while room service. 2. Sleep quality was an issue due to its close proximity to rly. stn. and being on Abu Road. This problem was in balcony room. May be the other rooms (on the back side) must not be having same problem.

Rooms are good but you won’t get the views plus very NOISY environment around rooms
Reviewed By Prit0561. Rooms are quite good but views which we see in photos won’t be there as they don’t add those rooms for online booking that’s what owner said when I asked for those rooms 2. Another point I didn’t liked is it very noisy around your rooms the phone on the desk of your floor keeps ringing and you can hear that in your room plus you can hear other guests voices as area around rooms are congested. Apart from those two hotel staff was polite and helping, I could have gave one more star but with such noise around rooms and expectations of views destroyed, can’t give it so think before you book it :)

Reviewed By ankitp374Worst experience. Behavior of hotel manager (Gupta) was very rude. No hygiene. Worst accomodation. Third class facilities. Worst location. Don't go there, to insult yourself by manager and staff. It was like small house without any space in small Chali. Poor surrounding with unhygiene.
