Nice place to stay overnight
Reviewed By RinaJohn2394Always pick this hotel whenever i have to go to airport on the next day. Convenient, close to shopping malls like Farley, and opposite the road is just the Sin Kwong mall. It is easier to find food here and parking near the hotel is a no problem. The staffs are friendly and welcoming. I wish the hotel had elevators to carry my big bags every time i came here. So far great experience staying here!

A place where the kampua noodles and kompia pastries are the order of the day, the pasar malam a must visit in Sibu (which we did with out fail).We stayed at Orchid Hotel, a bit old but serve it purpose. The furnitures / fitting are old, the linens are clean but old though (which is fine) the rates are a little on the steep site for that kind of property. The staff are friendly. The b/fast can be better. (there are a number of food outlet surrounding the hotel both serve halal and non halal menu) the room are basically clean with a tinge of carpet smell. the lift are dimly lit. What i like most of this hotel is the private parking lost with in the Hotel's compound. It also walking distance to the nearby shopping complex and the town centre. I would not hesitate to return to this place again

Dirty, Poor attitude, but quiet place to overnight
Reviewed By eanatan92I believe that I might be unlucky on this trip as my usual hotel been fully booked, and I been recommended to stay in this inn and I feel disappointed after I checked in. First, the receptionist's attitude is very poor. Second, the room is full of spiderweb and dust. After complaint made, the receptionist claimed that the room had been clean before I checked in and refuse to switch a room for me. Some more, the floor is full of footprints. Anyway, a room is better than sleep under the bridge ??

Reviewed By Claude_BetancourtThis place is great! For a cheap price you get 1. Clean, ironed sheets 2. Perfectly working air conditioning 3. Powerful wifi and 4. Central location. I highly recommend this hotel for budget travellers who transit by Sibu bound to Kapit/Pelaga. Wifi is so powerful, they have at least four accesses depending on the room: I realized I was connected also when I was having dinner in the nearest restaurant. Location is great, you are near the night market (where you can buy street food till 11 pm), local restaurants, three international restaurants, a mall and a seven minutes walk from the boat terminal (whose first boat to Karpit leaves at 5:45). Owner is polite; since he locks the hotel door till 6:30 am, don't forget to inform him of your boat: he will wake up for opening the door to you.

Reviewed By Richard GIt's been a few months since I stayed at Villa Home Sibu, the generosity and attentiveness of the owner, Lee, has really stuck with me. I was just passing through Sibu and stayed 1 night only. My bus arrived late at night, Lee was waiting at the bus station to pick me up and take me to the villa (all free of charge), we were in contact via WhatsApp and he was very attentive. The following morning Lee took me for brunch at a Chinese restaurant - he paid for whatever I wanted - it was a real treat and I'm really grateful to Lee. He then took me to the ferry terminal. I was running late. When we got to the ferry terminal Lee jumped out the car and stopped the boat from leaving to make sure I got onboard! Lee is a great guy!

Large rooms, convenient location
Reviewed By kathyk0lWe stayed one night at this hotel. Our room was very large as was the bathroom. There were picture windows across the front and a smaller window in a second direction. The view was uninspiring. Everything worked well in the basics, wifi, hot water, comfy bed. The room was advertised as having cable TV and we particularly wanted to watch Wimbledon. Not only was there no cable bit the regular Malaysian stations were unwatchable. Despite the staff saying they would call a technician the next day we moved out. The location is close to the night market and other eating places.

Reviewed By faizalfederati0nsThey are situated in the middle of the city, easily cam be reach ny any mean of transportation, especially by grab, they are sit next to rh hotel and wisma sanyan, from here, there is a lot of restaurant, including halal and mcdonald. If you are looking for 7 eleven, fret not, it also nestle in front of the hotel. They have almost all the amenities that any 4 start hotel, only thing is they are in minimal quantity and smaller size but it complete the need of any traveller who need place to winding up and have a decent sleep at night. Thing need to improve if the management want is the shower pressure, need to increase and the temperature are not so hot enough for me. The rest, just nice worth every penny and in par with the rate. I love it so much and if could please do provide a special ratr for those who need extra day of stay. Overall, kudos to the management and the front counter staff which is very helpfull to me...
