We stayed in - what i think is called the garden rooms - anyway they look out onto the garden and are not in the main house, but they were really nice and comfortable. The main part of the hotel is great, we enjoyed sitting on the various terraces watching the sun set and the gorgeous view. The beach (yes it's down a steep twisty road - but it's a nice walk, and if you don't fancy the walk back the hotel come and pick you up) is just lovely. The staff are so friendly and kind - even when we were an hour late for a trip we had booked . Thank you so much - we had a really lovely time.

Nice hotel but no restaurant
Reviewed By robofonNice hotel with pool and bar but unfortunately no restaurant. The manager Vitor is really the right guy at the right place, very helpful and friendly. Clean rooms with air conditioning. The location of the hotel is good, the centre is within walking distanse. A highly recommendable place to stay at when in Sao Tome.

Free private parking is available on site.In the room there is a flat screen and Dvd-player available.The area is popular for snorkelling and diving. Supermarket is 1.4 km from Vila Marilyn. 24/7 staff on the property!

Reviewed By DespoinaMiWe had an amazing relaxing time in Vila Marylin. It is a value for money accommodation. We had already spent a week in Sao Tome and we have stayed in different accommodations and definitely Vila Marylin was the one we enjoyed the most. The staff was excellent , friendly and helpful , even though not all of them were speaking English. ( They speak French and Portuguese ) Breakfast was decent, Pool area was relaxing, rooms were spacious. We had to move rooms because of some reconstruction, and the toilet door was broken. But , given the price paid, rest of the room was overall good. Neighborhood might seem sketchy at the beginning, specially if this is your first time in Sao Tome, but it is safe to walk around. Restaurants and center area is approx 20 mins walk. We regretted that we couldn't stay longer. In the next visit to Sao Tome, Vila Marylin will be the top choice for vacations. Thanks to everyone in the staff that made our short experience there unforgettable and a reason to look forward to go back one day to Sao Tome.

Reviewed By Peggy2012Excellent location. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. There’s a bit noise from the street but acceptable. Parking across the street is possible and safe. They are also opening a new restaurant downstairs.

Reviewed By robofonNice resort with good service, the manager Silvino is really the right guy at the right place. Speaks good english and has a very good sense for service. The cabins are a bit simple but ok. The food was really great, I had grilled chicken that was among the best chicken I´ve ever eaten. The burger was also excellent.

Reviewed By stephanietravelssCasa Luis is a beautiful house who’s owners are absolutely adorable! We only spent one night there in between Sao Tomé and Principe but we had a lovely time. We were very warmly welcomed and our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast on the terrace in the morning facing the view was a very good time as well. Also, the location close to the airport is super convenient. Definitely recommend it!
