Reviewed By keith47The complex is built a slight slope which while not giving a full seaview we had plenty to see, being half way up in room 201. Having two balconies we could enjoy the views, with an evening drink before venturing out for a meal. Made very welcome by a nice husband and wife team who look after their guests. They gave us much local information, especially the beach at ...............which was a 20 minute walk but worth it. Also arranged a taxi to Koroni and assisted us when our ipad and Email facilities failed for UK Covid return requirements . Having been sent a breakfast menu (before departure) we made certain we would use this facility every day as it was well priced and good quality and presentation. The views from this location were worth the wait for breakfast. Service was exceptional as all guests were remembered as to to their choices and preferences With this offering it just was not worth self-catering. Very enjoyable stay, several places to eat in the location and would certainly return if in the area again. Thank you

Another Excellent Stay
Reviewed By pgalpinWe booked two weeks at the last minute and received an excellent rate on what I think was their last room. OK it didn’t have the best view, last year we had a large balcony overlooking the pool, this year a small balcony looking onto the car park. That aside the room was large, well equipped and clean. The hotel staff were very helpful and very careful about keeping the place clean and filling Covid restrictions. We had a great two weeks and the hotel could not be faulted in any way. Bedding was changed every few days and towels every day. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a quiet area just a 5 to 10 minute walk into Finikounda or around 10 minutes down to long beach. There were always plenty of sun beds and umbrellas around the pool and drinks and light lunches were available. Ok nowhere is perfect but any issues were relatively minor. The open dustbin at the front gives a bad impression and a few of the sun beds have taken a beating during the season and need their wheels straightening or tightening. However neither should put anybody off coming here. We will be back again when we are next in Finikounda.

Reviewed By HogbadLovely resort, nice hotel located, at one end, good breakfast and coffee, cheap drinks. Typical Greek hospitality, rooms cleaned daily, fresh sheets and towels every 3 days. Several excellent tavernas within easy walking. Hotel was with Thomas Cook this year so may be harder to book next year.

Our resort covers an area of 6 acres and is located on a hillside overlooking the wonderful Ionian Sea to the south. Looking towards east the olive trees and the far away mountains excite your imagination. Each of the four buildings has two floors, and there are a total of four different room types.

The Breakfast? breakfast of champions as they value this meal so much...You can see the love and though that went to every single ingredient that has been added in and my goodness the owners... awww the owners... beautiful inside out people. Reviewed By Gianna PExcellent location with Parking space. The sea was 5 minutes by foot. We had a 4 night stay. The room was very clean and very comfortable. The kitchenette had everything you may need. The owner was very polite and friendly. He also gave us some extra info for the area. We would definitely recomend it to our friends.

Cockroaches EVERYWHERE
Reviewed By christost543The truth is that we booked this accommodation for 2 nights just before the 15th of August. It seemed a bit expensive at 128 euros per night but we said that it will be worth the money. We arrived, all seemed perfect. We had read some reviews in Booking that mentioned cockroaches but this was about the 2 downstairs apartments, so we that were staying upstairs thought we were okay. The night just before we entered the room we found a dead cockroach. This would not be a problem but when we entered the room, we saw another cockroach alive running on the bed, on the sheets that we would sleep. After a few minutes and after I managed to kill her, next to the bed, from a piece of the wall that had swelled, I saw two cockroach antennas coming out. The result; We stayed up all night to watch out in case the cockroach came out and in the morning we left asap. When you ask for 128 euros per night and call your accommodation luxurious (Luxury Lodge) this is not allowed. Of course, they did not return anything as an apology for all the suffering. FYI. The next day we found a hotel with 85 euros per night, with breakfast and WITHOUT KATSARIDES. Think again before you book it.

There, we created 6 fully equipped, high quality guesthouses and we are waiting for you to experience vacation at Chamaloni. Our guesthouses are suitable for summer as well as for winter too. They have bathrooms all in marble, king size beds with high quality mattresses, fully equipped kitchens and a siting room with a fireplace or a stove and a great view to the sea.

Reviewed By Diz01We spent several days at Chamaloni Cottages. There are six cottages in three buildings on a large site all with lovely views over the hills and the Messinian gulf. The location is convenient for Finikounda, Methoni and Koroni and several very nice beaches. Pylos is a little further away. It is a very peaceful location and the absence of light pollution means the night sky is stunning. The cottages are spacious and nicely furnished but would benefit from a little decoration in the next year or so. The kitchen has a large fridge/ freezer, oven and hob and cupboards, adequately equipped but it seemed odd that there was no kettle. There is a private terrace with furniture. Good aircon but Wifi a bit weak and variable. Cleaning, linen and towel change is done every 3 or 4 days. Dinner is available to be brought to your cottage on request and I believe breakfast is the same. We didn't see much of the owners but that was fine. When we needed something we contacted via email and got a very quick response. Well recommended at this price point.

Reviewed By NickyfeetFabulous location. Staff absolutely lovely. Hotel is kept clean. Bed made and towels changed every day. However, the hotel is very very tired. Unfortunately i had back ache within a couple of days due to terrible mattress. Everything is weĺl past its best.....old. The shower bathroom , although water hot, is a flippin nightmare. So small the door hits the basin. Cheap cheerful if on a budget.

Εχουν διορθώσει θέματα που ειδα σε παλιότερες κριτικές. Π.χ. Εχουν βάλει πρίζες παντού. Τα κάγκελα και τα πλακάκια στο μπαλκόνι ειναι ανακαινισμένα. Τα κρεβάτια και τα στρώματα ηταν καινουρια η τουλαχιστον φαίνονταν σαν καινουρια. Μονο αρνητικό, θέλουν μια ψιλό ανακαίνιση. Αλλα μετα σιγουρα η τιμή θα ηταν άλλη και δικαίως!!!
