Reviewed By ceg51Very nice rooms but the house is hard to find. We parked in the center of town and carried an overnight bag to walk and find the B and B. Small but pleasant room and easy to walk to dinner. We did the walk to to bottom bridge 71 flights up and 2 miles. Strenuous but worth it. Breakfast was amazing. Served on the terrace with fresh orange juice, 8 kinds of pastries, bruschetta, fruit and the food just kept coming.by far the best breakfast we have been served. I had read previous reviews but nothing prepared me for this feast!

Reviewed By J9425TIwendybWe stayed here last year and enjoyed it so we decided to come back this year. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have airco. The staff is really friendly and helpful. It’s beautifully located on top of a hill. You can have a good breakfast here and it’s also possible to dine here. There is a lovely terrace on the roof where you can enjoy a cocktail while enjoying the view. We can recommend it.

Incorrectly charged our credit card; no response from the hotel
Reviewed By Jean-Paul HWe tried to book a room at the hotel, but received a message a few hours later that the hotel was overbooked. No problem for us; they replied that the cancellation would be free of charge (which seems logical to me as it was overbooked). However they did charge the credit card for the complete day. We tried to contact the hotel in various ways, but they simply do not respond. As they only speak Italian a phone call isn't working either. Maybe someone from the hotel will read this and will reply...

Camere nuovissime e arredate con gusto, la nostra era dotata di un balconcino, pulizia impeccabile, letto comodissimo, colazione varia e abbondante, sia dolce che salata, e con prodotti di qualità, a piano terra c'è il pub che gestiscono da anni e la sera abbiamo mangiato lì in giardino a prezzi onestissimi ottimi panini, taglieri di salumi, pinse e friggitoria, consigliatissimo, ritorneremo certamente per esplorare altre zone del Pollino

Arredato con molto gusto in uno stile essenziale, che richiama l'arredo monastico, ma al contempo elegante. Sicuramente la “chicca” è il profilo altimetrico della catena montuosa coast to coast del bancone della reception, geniale! Consiglio anche il ristorante, ravioli con burrata semplicemente divini! Tutto poi accompagnato dal personale professionale, cordiale e sorridente!

Il Silver Sleep è un b & b basato sull'armonia di gestire il proprio cliente nel modo più efficace ed elegante. Nel centro storico di Papasidero con vista spettacolare offre un servizio in camera oppure nella sala colazione degustando i nostri prodotti tipici calabresi con colazione sia salata che dolce oppure si può scegliere di farla nel bar associato in modo che ogni cliente può sempre scegliere dove e quando farla in totale libertà. Le attività sportive che offre il B&B Silver Sleep sono il trekking nel parco nazionale del pollino, un percorso molto intenso e bello che parte da Papasidero fino ad arrivare alla GROTTA DEL ROMITO ( patrimonio dell'unesco ) un percorso unico e fantastico in una natura incontaminata e di viste stupende adatto a tutti e dura dalle 4 ore, l'acquatrekking dove si cammina dentro l'acqua nell'affluente del fiume Lao dove si va a vedere la cascata alta 30 metri e dura 2 ore, il rafting nel fiume Lao in magnifiche gole divertenti e dura 3 ore,il quad in 2 percorsi diversi che durano 2 ore,il canyoning in un percorso piu tecnico dove alla fine si scende una cascata con le corde e dura 3 ore. Si possono visitare e ammirare tutte le chiese, IL SANTUARIO DELLA MADONNA DI COSTANTINOPOLI sopra il fiume Lao. La chiesa madre che si trova nel centro storico, chiesa di Santa Sofia anche nel centro storico dove si possono ammirare i famosi dipinti, il castello che si trova in cima al paese ed infine la GROTTA DEL ROMITO
Very bad service
Reviewed By Valeria_ArrozMe and another 5 friends stayed at a house used as B&B by the owner of the Silver Sleep B&B. Notwithstanding the place was clean, although very basic, and down town, the service provided was definitely poor. The owner showed being very unkind, unprofessional and rude in approaching us. He did not understand the number of people staying at his place, did not provide blankets when asked, did not answer the phone when contacted, complained when asked to have breakfast earlier than 12, as he wanted to, and started arguing the next morning when he brought breakfast for less people than those hosted. Last but not least he refused to realease any receipt at the moment of paying our stay. Even if his prices might appear lower than other B&B of the area, it might be worth finding another housing solution with much better personal care, and in a real B&B.

One could say that furniture is a little outdated (but not old and crappy at all!) and it could get a bit noisy if its crowded, but this is compensated by the really friendly owner (Antonio) who serves breakfast every morning and is at your disposal for everything you need (and wants to help out wherever he can). One of the nicest and hardworking men you’ll meet!
