Reviewed By radimkuI was born and raised in Pardubice and have been staying at Signal every time I visit since I accidentally discovered it a few years ago. It is a perfect place for a brief or a longer stay. The rooms are bright, spacious, well-equipped, and extremely clean. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The accommodation is located above a pub, which is well separated and serves tasty food. The entire experience of staying at Hotel Signal is wonderful yet inexpensive. PS: Looking at the hotel's Website, their address is different from the one listed here on TA. Another entry under "Signal" has the proper address, but it's only listed as a restaurant and therefore cannot be reviewed as a hotel. Hope this is not too confusing ;)

Reviewed By Ladislav BDnes jsem s manželkou a přáteli navštívil tento podnik. Předesílám že se jednalo o večeři a ne ubytování, tedy hodnotím restauraci. Vnitřek restaurace je vzdušný a i když moderní, tak působí příjemným dojmem. Ale sedli jsme si venku, příjemná zahrádka, tak akorát velká kde stín zajišťují stromy a keře, tedy příjemně přírodní. Obsluha byla milá. Vyzkoušeli jsme dva předkrmy a tři hlavní jídla a dezert. Vše bylo výborné a dobře připravené. Steak byl jak jsem si řekl a hned na první dobrou, v této disciplíně většina restaurací zklame. Ryba byla výborná a nevysušená a to samé panenka. Předkrmy dosti velké a chuťově výborné. Tečka v podobě zmrzlinové koule a ne kuličky jak nám řekla obsluha byla parádní. Ceny jsou na Pardubice velice příjemné. Mohu doporučit a rádi se určitě vrátíme.

Reviewed By scema58Rooms were quaint, but very cold, no extra blankets were provided. Construction on the street below our room started at 6:30 a.m.! The bar doubles as front desk. Dinner at resto was quite good, as well the breakfast.

Nice hotel with friendly staff
Reviewed By Christine GStayed here for one night as part of an Elbe cycle touring trip. The hotel is just off the centre but easy to reach. Our room was nice and clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice. We ate in the hotel and, while not typically Chez, it was nice. It was a good value choice.

Nice 1 night stay for business trip
Reviewed By fiendejongheI had a good sleep in this hotel. It is small but rooms are clean and quite new/modern. Good bed and free wifi is available. I did not try the restaurant, breakfast is limited but basics are there and all is fresh. Service is really good, as they stayed till even 10.30 pm for my check in. I would advise to stay here, it is a small hotel with nice atmosphere.

Reviewed By G0kceDIt is a small pension (AKA B&B) in Pardubice. Rooms reminded me of 1970's. The restaurant was closed and the garden was open but nothing served there. The location is good, but how big is Pardubice, everywhere downtown is close by. Clean sheets. Only Czech TV. Air conditioning available, and required as the sun enters the room directly from rooftop windows. The railroad and the main road is near by so a bit noise early in the morning.

El Peor Hotel que he pasado jamás!
Reviewed By 310adrianqEl "hotel" situado en un callejón oscuro de difícil acceso, junto a un hospital, no es de extrañar que este edificio el cual la fachada es feísima, fuera una vieja parte del hospital reconvertido en "hotel". Nada más llegar, sobre las 10 y media de la noche, estaba cerrado, había un timbre en el que nos atendió un chico que nos dijo que había una llave debajo de un florero, en una ventana contigua a la puerta principal, así mientras el llegaba en un patinete eléctrico nosotros podíamos ir entrando las maletas mientras él llegaba y nos repartía el resto de llaves. La zona de recepción si se le puede llamar así, cuenta con los mismos muebles del año de su inauguración, allá por 1960, en esa misma inauguración también fue la primera y última limpieza, porque vaya tela la de manchas, polvo y telarañas que tenía todo. MUY SUCIO. El "hotel " es viejo, muy viejo, las habitaciones dan asco, conforme cruzas las puertas que fueron instaladas por los comunistas en la guerra fría, te das cuenta de lo sucio que está todo y del mal olor que desprende toda la habitación, un sistema de doble habitación (cada una privada) muy raro y muy obsoleto, donde en teoría se comparte baño, nose si todavía lo hacen así, porque las cerraduras de las habitaciones están rotas... Entrando a tu sub-habitacion te das cuenta de que ahora sí, estás inmerso en una película de terror, donde acaban muriendo todos los protagonistas... Destape las sábanas y la cama estaba llena de pelos, habían manchas extrañas por los muebles y arañas en el techo. El baño estaba sucio, el rollo de papel usado y los vasos también sin lavar... La señas wifi es muy muy muy débil. La inseguridad que te trasmite el dormir aquí jamás la había sentido... El hotel de los horrores, quizá si lo tematizaran, sería el mejor hotel terrorífico del mundo... EL PEOR HOTEL QUE JAMÁS HE PISADO. 0/10

Old building, nice location
Reviewed By InspirusOld building, nice location, close to the city centre (Pernstein Sq.), almost in the peripheric wall of the Old Castle. Our room was quite spacious and well-maintained, but it lacked air-conditioning, a fact that counts in the summer hot days. A second defect was lack of elevator -as it also happens with other buildings in the area. We stayed three nights there. Breakfast was satisfactory, but we were dissatisfied with the owner, an old gentleman who did not allow us to go out in the small terrace (there were just a few tables there), presumably to avoid extra fuss for his personel.
