We really had a fantastic time at Krabi home. I highly recommend this place to anyone who visit Krabi.

Reviewed By nicolemD3230MY4 night stay here. Surroundings very nice, feels like your living amongst the locals. Family run place, everyone friendly. Free hire of scooter very good. We had an issue with the scooter (stand was stuck) at a restaurant near by and the owner came down and fix it for us with no problem. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Really good WiFi. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was okay. Close to Khao ngon nak national park for trek to the top. Highly recommend views were amazing! Few beaches near by, and loads of restaurants, 10 mins on scooter. Overall lovely stay at phu tubkaek view house. Would recommend.

Cosy hotel
Reviewed By afrancoelhoROOM REVIEW: We booked two Bungalow double rooms with sea view. One for 3 adults with an extra bed and one for our family of 4 with two children below 7 years. We loved how quaint and cosy the rooms were. They were perfect sizes and we didn't feel like we were squeezed in as a family. The basic amenities of two bathrobes, an umbrella, a really cute jute beach bag, slippers for the room and liquid soap and shampoo were available. We were served with a complimentary fruit basket upon arrival and enjoyed that. There is also a mini-bar facility for those midnight snack cravings which I did have! The security safe box was not working in our room and if that is a necessary feature you require, email them to ensure that your room has this in working condition. We locked our belongings in our suitcases and had no problems at all. Our room was perfectly situated for us as a family with smaller children as we did not need to take the stairs to get to the restaurant. The restaurant was right next to us but in no way were we disturbed by that. If anything I would have probably been a disturbance when I yelled at my kids every now and then! Sorry! We found it interesting that there is no phone in our room to call the reception so we had to walk over, which was not so bad as our room was located close to the reception. They also do not offer any room service that I am aware of. BEACH REVIEW: The beach view was just so relaxing and peaceful as it wasn't a crowded beach and I loved that about this location. The beach even though I heard was supposed to be very beautiful, I felt it was quite mirky and visibility was terrible even in the shallow and that just didn't make me feel comfortable to venture in but that's just me. RESTAURANT REVIEW: The restaurant in the hotel was perfect! We preferred to sit indoor so the children wouldn't start building castles in the sand while we had our breakfast but instead they chose to cuddle with the cats that belonged to the hotel. As we stayed there for 5 days, I did eventually get bored with breakfast as it was the same set menu and there wasn't a buffet option. They had a menu for breakfast but didn't have the croissant and cereal available for the children on all days, we then requested for it and they ensured that it was made available for the rest of the days we were there. The menu at the restaurant is not restricted to only Thai food and we welcomed the occasional burger with fries. TRANSPORTATION REVIEW: I found transportation to go to town quite expensive and if you choose this location and do not plan to hire any transport, then you should be prepared to spend quite a bit on transport to go around the hotel. Although the transportation arranged by the hotel is extremely luxurious and comfortable. NEARBY THE HOTEL: One of the guests we befriended, recommended a lovely Indian restaurant in the market area that we went to and we were not disappointed at all. It was a nice change from the usual Thai cuisine at the hotel. The restaurant told us they could deliver food to our hotel as well, although we didn't really need that service. There isn't much of a shopping market nearby unless you are looking for 'wear-and-throw' kind of clothes just for your stay, mainly for the beach. There are other hotels around Baan Tubkaek that look much fancier but I would opt for them only if all I wanted to do was stay in the hotel and not leave. I did like the way the Krabi Home Resort looked from the outside. MASSAGES: The hotel has a massage parlour and my husband went for a Thai massage and found them good. There was also one further down the right side of the beach and the prices are the same. STAFF REVIEW: Personally I feel Thai people are naturally very hospitable and love children. The staff around the hotel spoke English well and we had no problem communicating our needs. "Aiy" not sure if that is how she would spell her name, was a lovely lady who took good care of us and made us very comfortable, right from checking in to checking out. The cleaning staff is also very good and quick. They even provided us with extra pillows and towels for the children upon request. Even the man (sorry I don't remember his name) who helped organize our transportation was well spoken and very helpful. I have to say a special thank you to Jiraporn (Fha) for communicating so well to me via email during the reservation time and even after when I had questions. She detailed expenses I should expect so well that we had absolutely no problems with staying within our budget during our trip! TOURS We did two-day island tours with Andaman Camp and Cruise and they may have been expensive (we have not compared prices) but we have no regrets as their service was impeccable! I do believe tours can be arranged by the hotel as well upon arrival. LAUNDRY This service is available at a very reasonable rate and had we known earlier, we would have probably carried fewer clothes. Maybe would be nice if the hotel mentions this service in their emails after a reservation is done. Just a suggestion. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and wouldn't mind staying there again if I had to. I just wish that the beach was a lot clearer and safer to swim in. I was worried about the number of rocks around. The only thing I didn't like around the hotel were the caged bul-buls around the hotel. I was particularly saddened by the small sizes of the cages they were kept in and that there was only one bird per cage. This did bother me as I am an animal lover. Other than this, I have nothing negative to say!

Reviewed By zakshielaWhere do I even begin? Big thanks to Chai! Best host ever, he went extra mile for his guest. I book this hotel due to Muslim friendly, they serve halal delicious breakfast. The location of the hotel is perfect if you’re looking for a layback holiday. The masjid is opposite the hotel, halal food access is close by too, 7-11 it is just around the corner. Massage place it’s nearby too and the beach it is just opposite the road. Places to eat it is all nearby, there’s a pad Thai & pancake stall nearby too incase you’re hungry at night. The room are clean and nicely decorated, all the amenities works well. They have hair dryer which in some 5 stars hotels doesn’t even offer, so that was impressive. The rooms are made everyday by Chai the owner himself, including the breakfast too. You will get what per what you request upon western or Thai breakfast, we always skip lunch cause our breakfast are always heavy. Hahahaha, during our last stay Chai made us a dessert & homemade juice. It was really sweet gesture of him, we appreciate it very much. Will definitely recommend this hotel to my family & friends and will definitely come to stay here again. Worth every penny!
