Alma Loft - A must stay for couples or family
Reviewed By Connor GMy wife and another couple visited Alma Loft together in January. The rooms were fantastic (we stayed in the master suite, and the other couple stayed in a different room). Both rooms were cleaned daily and both have incredible views of the sunset right on the beach. The beach itself is pretty much private, quiet and safe, and they have activities like snorkeling and stand up paddle board. The restaurant has great food and had live music which was great. The service is also inedible, as Claudia was there for anything we needed in terms of room service or knowledge about the surrounding area. The hotel is a quick 10-15 minute tuk-tuk ride to Macora which made it easy go to and from the town at night or during the day. Highly recommend for family’s or couples. We will be back!

Hospedaje La Quebrada Mancora is a small family run business in the town of Mancora in north Peru. We are lucky to be situated in a very nice area at the edge of a dry river delta, close to the beach, only 150 mt away. The commercial city centre is just a stones throw away, a couple of minutes walk and you will find all kind of shops, bars and restaurants. Mancora is known for its lively party scene, at Hospedaje La Quebrada you will not be bothered by nighttime noise, you will always have a good nights sleep. Hospedaje La Quebrada has a lush garden with coconut palms where one can lay down and relax in our hammocks or sit at the balcony enjoying a sea view....

This hospedaje is close to the beach, restaurants and local amenities, but set back from the Main Street so that it’s quiet and relaxing. The location is beautiful, with lovely gardens and a nice pool. Our host Ali was super kind, friendly and exceptionally helpful. We didn’t expect it to be so lovely and were pleasantly surprised. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Reviewed By niaross246The cabins are basic but have everything you need including an excellent fan and a fridge. You are given your own balcony area with outdoor table and hammocks, we enjoyed spending time soaking up the peaceful surroundings and hoping the dogs and cats would come and say hello. Secondly, the owners are wonderful. They are kind and very accomodating even when we cancelled a night of our accomodation last minute. To add to this, they rescue dogs and cats and house them all on the complex. You can see how much care and attention they have given to each individual animal and it really is magical to see. We were welcomed home everyday by lots of dogs and cats all friendly and full of character. This is not a normal hostel or hotel vibe but is cosy and heart warming. We really enjoyed our stay.

Una vista maravillosa, una piscina limpia y con agua templada todo el día. El personal de servicio muy amigable y eficiente,incluso el dueño del lugar era muy bueno. El bungalow que nos dieron fue muy bonito, incluyendo la cocina muy equipada con todo lo que se necesita.Lo único pesado fue subir la colina cada vez que iba a Mancora boulevar, si no eres gordito como yo es normal jajajajaja igual nada se iguala con todo lo bueno que hay. Del hotel a la playa hay solo 5 a 6 minutos caminando, si es en auto o en moto mucho menor el tiempo. Fui con mis hijos y disfrutaron el paseo más estando en el hotel que fuera de él. Lo recomiendo a ojos cerrados. Y obvio regresaré siempre a este lugar cada vez que vaya a Mancora.

Reviewed By DrGreifoI always enjoy traveling, visiting and learning from different peoples’ cultures. However this hotel for some reason did not meet my expectations. First, the owner or employee that works at the front desk/receptionist, does not have a polite manner to serve people. Second in every high standard/low standard hotel I have stayed never made feel uncomfortable at all. But this person at the front desk does not seems to understand that their clients are the heart of her business not her neither the owner. Whoever own this place should teach their employees to serve and treat people better. No worthy the aggravation. Do not waste your money!

Reviewed By lindsaybest2016Great stay. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I arrived before check in and they made me coffee and let me keep my bags there while exploring. I also left after check in and they let me keep bags there and come and go as I pleased. Very friendly, clean, and in a good location. Very close to the beach and to Main Street Mancora. Breakfast was basic but good..scrambled eggs, bread, coffee.

A nice italian menu, with good antipasti, and even much better pastas. Also good pizzas and nice desserts. But the nicest was the service and ambience

Reviewed By Geert_AQPWe've promised to come back to Casitas Pacificas, and so we did. Within the compound there are 3 houses. Last year we stayed in 'Dueños', this year in 'Sueños'. 'Sueños' has a massive beautiful exotic garden, situated directly on the beach and with a maximum of privacy. Day and night the de-stressing sound of the waves in your ears is a bonus. The caretaker Wilfredo creates a very safe and pleasant environment. Daily the bathroom is cleaned and the comfy beds are made. You make your own breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen. The stove is maybe ready for a replacement? Don't expect a modern 5* appearance of the interior, but it is cozy, comfortable and nice. High speed WiFi and DirecTV complete the services. Again: We will be back !

Reviewed By flinkashoLovely room location with a view of the sea. A 300m beach or road walk from the main mancora village. Would warn you not to buy food or drinks here as it’s really overpriced and just bad value for money. Otherwise this hotel is perfect!
