Nice for a transit hotel
Reviewed By Veronique2007We arrived late - 22:30-23:00, the hotel came to pick up us at the airport for free (a 20 minutes ride) - quite smooth. We were 4 couples in the van and they processed our check in one after the other - I was a bit tired and I wished that they could have more people to to the check in. The room was on level 1 next to the reception - It was quite noisy as the room was not soundproof. I put some earplug and it was alright after that to sleep. Breakfast had a limited options of food for their continental brunch but their a la carte menu for lunch was more varied and yummy. They offered another complementary transport to go back to the airport the next morning. The service was great! The staff were quite nice, always smiling and helpful at all time.

I was satisfied with the breakfast and dinner buffets, they had different dishes that were all tasty. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. Beach was nice. There were lots of entertainment organized by the hotel including karaoke night, yoga class, DJ and the most spectacular was the fire show. All in all, I would say I very much enjoyed staying in this hotel.

Reviewed By iset_87We booked directly with the guest house the accommodation, meals and diving package. They organised the transport from the airport as well which is was great. Our suitcases were lost on arrival but they helped us a lot to make sure we could get everything we needed to enjoy our holidays which it is not easy in an island that has limited shops. Thanks to them our suitcases were finally delivered to the guest house. The room had everything we needed

Reviewed By nillas2013I stayed at Crystal Sands for 8 nights between March and April and it is simply wonderful. The rooms are of good size, they are cleaned every day and the bed is very comfortable. Just a few minutes walk from the beach. Breakfast is good, especially the mas huni, sooo delicious. Very good lunch offers as well, and dinner buffet is also nice. The best thing with this place though is the staff, from the girls in the reception, to the housekeepers, the waiters and of course the snorkeling guys on the Fun and adventure tour. Shafu and Nasir are incredible, they take such good care of you, they are very friendly, fun and knowledgeable and you feel very safe with them even if you have never snorkeled before. A special mention to Nasir who went out of his way to make my stay at Crystal Sands THE BEST. What an amazing guy, a real gem for this hotel. I will definitely come back!!

No reception, you have to go next door for that! No restaurant, you have to go next door for that!! No Seaview, you have to go next door for that!

Reviewed By 522lisatyeWe had the best time staying with Mazin at Noovilu Suites. Noovilu means blue lagoon and there are lots of those right near by. The ocean activities were magical. One of the best places in the world for diving. Mazin is a host who truly wants you to leave loving his island as much as he does. He really cares that you would want to return. I very highly recommend Noovilu.

The room rate includes roundtrip airport transportation which was a huge plus. The room is not the most spacious but it’s a nice clean space. Good number of restaurants within walking distance along with convenience stores which makes it a great stopover before heading out to or returning from the resorts.

The hotel is cosy, next to the sea and the staff is super nice. After 2 days at Triton Prestige Seaview and Spa on Maafufi island, we decided to spend my birthday in a nice resort in a water villa. I told Thoha that I couldn't find a decent hotel in this short time... To my surprise the next day he came back to me and gave me a few options in an amazing resort where he used to work. He took the time to organise everything for us, (pick up, booking..etc) All in a very professional manner!! Thank you so much for making our whole experience wonderful!!

In the centre of busy Male on a quiet street opposite the school and near the Museum. First class service, rooms clean and comfortable. Staff are excellent and helpfull. There is also a lovely restaurant attached, best holiday hotel I have been in. Collected from and driven back to the airport by staff. Very highly recommended.
