We don’t have spacious lobby and fancy decorations, this is A place that makes you feel like at Home, and make you laugh. We are close to the nature so you can hear insects and frogs sing which is rarely happened in a big city.

Detail oriented design hostel
Reviewed By KewpieW1We stayed two nights in Hostel Tomato in two different private rooms. We loved how detail oriented it is, you can see the thoughts behind everything - even the toothbrush. The room isn't very spacious but for a hostel it's great. The private rooms come with private bath, which runs hot spring water so we enjoyed the hot spring very much. It's very clean even in the shared space. On the 4th floor there is a common space where some lifestyle and cultural magazines are provided. The breakfast was simple but good. And I like how they host different exhibition each season. Will definitely come back again, and would recommend it to anyone who is planning to visit Jiaoxi.

Little houses are set in beautiful garden and its architecture is cutting edge The breakfast is included and excellent The rooms are all different and nicely and minimalistically decorated. Bigger suites have an onsen bath. The place is quiet and serene. English is not spoken at all and when we arrived at 7 pm they could not serve any food at all as you need to book in advance. Annoying as it is a bit middle of nowhere. A part from that I would still recommend the place and to book your meal!

Reviewed By MrsJaniceFooA new and cosy boutique hotel with an outdoor hotspring. We booked a deluxe Queen room with 2 queen beds and added an extra bed which was placed in a small room with view of the outdoor hotspring. The room was spacious and clean but minimally furnished. There were no luggage racks so we placed our bags on the floor. The bathroom was spacious but the wash basin was very small - not enough space to even place toothbrushes for the 5 of us. However, it was compensated by a huge hotspring tub which we could dip and relax with privacy.... Breakfast was a good spread and on the second morning, the kitchen specially prepared pork and chicken cutlets as a variety for us. The staff were friendly and helpful too, always greeting us with big smiles. When one of them spotted my husband applying tea to the insect bites on his legs after breakfast, she immediately offered him with an ointment. And when we returned to our room in the evening, another staff in the evening shift came to our room to offer the ointment and applicators again. Such is an excellent customer service which is highly appreciated. P.s. There's also a room for kids to ride on battery operated toy cars, we're too old for them but they sure look fun!

When I planed the 2 weeks holidays in TW for my family and friends, I did look through lots of B&B near to Jiaoxi in Yilan, then decided to stay with Zhongma, a room with indoor hot spring spa. We 6 person, my sister family and friends family, had a very nice stay for 2 nights in this lovely houses in last Oct. Host: Zhongma & her husband are very nice. During our stay, we had gone to the center for dinner one night, but the raini came out suddenly, Zhongma was very kindly to pick us up from the center by her own. We never asked her to do it, but she just worried about my friend's mama, who is over 70 years old. Very kind! Room: 3 rooms with double beds, and private indoor SPA with nice view of mountains. Breakfast: HOME-MADE breakfast cooked by Zhongma and her friends every morning, lots of choices, very beautiful and delicious! Location: located in rice field, a bit far from city center, around 15min walking. We are all from big busy city, so very enjoyable with the green surrounding. quite good for morning jogging! Bonus: Zhongma can offer the bicycles for free use by her guests. We did ride to go around for half day, even a bit hot. Highly recommended! 住在稻田中，望山泡温泉！ 主人钟妈，很好人，热情好客！天天为我们准备丰富的早餐，还有自行车可以免费用哦。有一晚，我们进城吃饭，突遇降雨，好大的，正着急间，看见了钟妈的SUV！原来钟妈看到下雨，怕我们同行中70岁的老人被雨淋，特意出来接的，太感人了！ 温泉，是纯纯天然的，房间内的，大大落地窗，可以望山泡温泉哦。爽！ 超级推荐！

The owners (Bernie and Grace) certainly have a great story to tell about the castle they built in a nice and quiet countryside located in Jiaoxi, Yilan of Taiwan. But, if you are looking for authentic schweinshaxe in Taiwan, look no further than the ones served at Zum Adler Castle B&B, which is by far the best schweinshaxe we have had outside of Europe. While most B&Bs serve breads and juices readily available from grocery stores, we were so appreciative that Bernie got up way before 7am to prepare “homemade” breakfast and serve them right out of stove and oven for everyone. Instead of being a hotel owner, Grace is more like a mom taking care of her kids on every single detail about the food she serves and the room she prepares. The house is very nicely decorated, the lady boss is very friendly and she makes very nice breakfast, especially the home-made green spread on toast. Highly recommended for people who will like to pop by Yilan. I will strongly recommend this to my friends and colleagues as well if they will like to pop by Yilan.

Reviewed By pulmbubble飯店位在礁溪的郊區，四周一片綠油油，很舒適。遠離礁溪市區以及大街的擁擠人潮。房間的空間很大，而且廁所跟衛浴空間分開，這點很棒。浴室裡有超大溫泉浴缸，碳酸氫鈉溫泉，泡起來非常舒適。房內備品高級。早餐非常豐盛，而且用餐時間很長。飯店為美國白宮造型，晚上有燈光拍起來很漂亮。飯店前有一大片美麗草皮。唯一缺點是沒有24小時服務前檯。渡假的好飯店，而且價格平實。

Quiet, comfortable and convenient
Reviewed By yuyingh2016My husband and I stayed at Pottery B & B for a night. The facility is situated in the rural setting yet close to downtown Jiaosi about 6-8 min walking. Our room was a standard room with individual bathroom where we were able to soak in hot spring water in a big stone lined bathtub. It was very relaxing, and we soaked twice in our short stay. The room itself was clean, comfortable and spacious. The window gave us the view of the organic vegetable garden that the owners farmed themselves. The owners are of the same family who also raise ducks and chickens. The small farm provided the ingredients for the fresh and tasty breakfast. The grandma also made very good coffee. They were very friendly and helpful. The B & B is about 12 to 15 minutes walk to the two hot spring public parks in downtown and 8 minutes from the train station. All in all, we liked it very much and will definitely return in the future.
