Lovely room..FANSTACTIC breakfast

Reviewed By ginavP7691YW

We did not receive instructions on getting into the premises....so another guest let us in. It is NOT a true B&B as there is no one on the premises till breakfast. You have a very nice comfortable room and can seat on a chair in front of it. I have never been to a bnb like that but would say it was nice enough. The lady at breakfast had a nice spread of food items and gave information but there are zero brochures. I loved the location in town and the Garden Shed restaurant a few driving minutes away was wonderful!!!!!! Harry's pancakes in town is NOT to be missed. I would recommend the bnb just as long as you understand no one is on premises. You get a code to enter. lovely stay.

I've been staying at Settlers Village since 2013 and from then on I've never looked around for alternative accommodation. Being welcomed by Linda each time! The relationship, even with the 2 year Covid forced absence proved solid when I booked this stay and she remembered exactly who I was and what my accommodation preferences where. Thank you, Linda...I hope to make many more visits!

Noisy & Cold

Reviewed By Rinckee

We stayed one night and on first sight the room was beautifully decorated and clean. However, the heating for the room was not sufficient for this time of year and the noise of passing logging trucks overnight made for a disturbed sleep. Our room felt like we were sleeping in a fridge, so the hot water bottle supplied was much appreciated. The heater was on all night but just didn’t seem to do anything! Breakfast is not included and hot water from the hand basin came out as a trickle, though the shower was lovely and hot. Maria was very friendly on arrival and the location was convenient to walk a local restaurant.
