Extraordinary hospitality
Reviewed By M7101ZOrobhDue to the corona virus we were forced to leave Tirta Sari after a one week stay. During this week we experienced an extraordinary welcome, an very helpful staff, a beautiful apartment, a relaxing spa and a lovely swimming pool. When we left, on march 28, all staff wishes us a good and save trip home although they realized that we were one of the last guest due to the virus. We promised to come back to Bali and we will certain go back to out Balinese friens at Tirta Sari. Anja & Rob

Owned and managed by a very friendly and helpful Indonesian family, they can organize day trips to local attractions, scooter rentals, private drivers, on site massages or just about anything your heart desire. The grounds are immaculate with beautiful plants, flowers, comfortable furniture, a refreshing pool, direct access to a swimmable beach and killer sunsets. The bungalows are simple but comfortable with strong AC and ceiling fans. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor bathroom with a little fish pond and lotus plants. During our one week stay we ate most of our meals at the onsite restaurant but never got tired of the delicious food including Indonesian and Western dishes. You must try the pandan (vanilla grass) pancake for breakfast!!! Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Excellent Homestay for Dive trips at Menjangan
Reviewed By WilliamKennI stayed 3 days at Arjuna as my dive base. The room is comfortable and the host Nico arrange all of my diving needs, including myopia dive goggles and morning wake up call . Arjuna is located beside Dive Concepts Pemuteran, both are reasonably priced and offer excellent dive trips at Pemuteran and Menjangan.

Reviewed By Julie-ann AThe rooms are very very dark because of the dark wood & dark brick. Lack of lights do not help. We literally had to get clothes out by torch light. We did have a bulb out that they replaced the following day promptly Bathroom had an awful smell like cat pee and was constantly damp. Towels were damp as was toilet paper. Shower had no pressure to get soap out of your hair. Room was not cleaned to a high standard at all. Dirt and dust behind tv and mirror dirty. The pool I honestly thought was a pond it was pretty grim. Wi-Fi or signal non existent in room. It’s a shame. Just a lick of white paint all over dark wood would transform the little villas. No air con or even ceiling fan No fridge for water I wouldn’t recommend if I’m honest unless you are backpacking cheaply around. It’s a cheap hotel and that’s what you get. However the staff were very helpful and super friendly. Views of lake (over the road) are amazing

A Great Small Hotel On The Beach
Reviewed By balijazzWe stayed here for a few nights with friends. A lovely small hotel directly on the beach and very relaxing to stay in. Our friends had a problem with the shower in their room and were moved and upgraded immediately. The rooms are spacious and nicely maintained and air-con and hot water worked well. It was great to hangout around the pool and there was a restaurant with a good selection of food and you could get beer, wine and arak. The only thing that could be improved was the breakfast. One more note the staff were amazing and very friendly.

Reviewed By pdmancsWe were the first guests in quite a while at Lesong - an all-too-common occurrence at the moment. The room was ok without being exceptional. Bathroom basic. Not having aircon wasn’t a problem (it’s cooler in Munduk at night) but it was difficult to get ventilation into the room because either the windows with insect mesh wouldn’t open or there was a rip in the mesh. The small bottle of water there for us when we arrived wasn’t replenished so I guess it’s a one-time offer! Breakfast was good, but pretty slow - even when we pre-ordered it didn’t seem to make much difference. We ate a couple of other times in the restaurant area - convenient, but basic. Very limited menu, and not much by way of drinks on offer (although they managed to get us some Bintang on the last day!) WiFi was reasonably good. We stayed for 3 nights and it was fine for our needs. First and foremost we wanted a great location close to Munduk, and Lesong certainly delivered in that respect. The setting is beautiful. It’s easy to be critical of places when travelling during a pandemic, but Lesong has most likely just had a really tough year, is a bit out of practice and has fallen a bit behind with a few things. The staff were really lovely - friendly and eager to please. And Lemon the dog is a really cutie.

On you return of exursion our restaurant will concoct a typical local dish. In short this is a jewel that we are inviting you to discover.

Reviewed By John BThe Banyuatis Waterfall in a short walk through ricefields. Mountains all around. Food really good, beer relatively cheap. Balinese huts some overlooking a lovely swimming pool. High enough to be cool at night, so no airconditioning needed!!
