Every single member of staff we came across were so lovely, helpful and professional. We were looked after from the second we arrived to the second we left. Special thanks to Memet in the restaurant who looked after us and was always smiling. Whilst staying at the hotel we organised a boat trip on the hotel boat to go snorkelling, which was spectacular! Beautiful pool area, bar area to watch the sunsets and nice food. Would recommend!

Because they always keep good standard especially in services, food, room cleanliness, strategic position, good price/ rate and the room have fully facility. Even though the interior make us feel comfortable, and the staff are friendly too, sometimes they even know our name :).

Reviewed By mildmilindWe were looking for a good homestay experience and this was just what we wanted. A perfect stay with a perfect host. The rooms were neat and clean, and yes very spacious. The staff was super nice and helpful. Their terrace has a yoga room to practice giving beautiful view of the mountains surrounding the property. The host was the very reason we booked the place for and he ensured our 4 days stay at the property was one of the best experiences of the trip we had.

Reviewed By Bsa522Clean and large rooms (were had three Elite). Wonderful location. Lots of restaurants very close by. The restaurant at Lilac was very good in itself. We were there for 2 weeks and the entire staff, starting with Sridhar, Thimanna and Chef Vinod went out of their way to make sure that our stay was comfortable. Would highly recommend this place.

Reviewed By sher1208I'm surprised at seeing all the reviews. Perhaps the other guests did not stay at the room we had! It was the first time where we had to squeeze ourselves through the shower door just to get into the shower. We're not very skinny people :) The WC was blocking the shower door which opens outwards. Lucky we swapped rooms with our parents otherwise they won't be able to use the shower. The room we were assigned to was really narrow, a queen bed with barely any walking space beside it so you literally have to climb in from the foot of the bed! It was good for a night's stay. Lucky the bed was comfy. The best thing about this place were the staff and the owner. They were really hospitable and they were really good because they had to put up with someone else in our travel group who can be very fussy. They went all the way to make sure you are comfortable and can arrange tours for you around the area as the owner also runs a tour agency. Very convenient! We explored the area outside the hotel. There were shops selling flowers and some shops selling CNY decor. We didn't venture far as it was dark and too many motorcycles zooming around. There were a few restaurants around the area serving authentic vietnamese food. Pho bo nearby the hotel was great! There's also a convenience store further down the road. The breakfast was good. We stayed at this hotel again when we returned back from Sapa. They allowed us to use a room to freshen up after spending a night on the sleeper train. Price is very very reasonable so if you are on a budget, this is recommended just make sure you book the bigger room. I'd recommend staying at the owner's other hotel nearby the church. That location is way more central and there are many shops around the area.

an underutilised place with huge potential

If you are traveling as a group, this place can turn out to be fun, but for individual families, many things can be a turn off. For eg, instead of having larger bedrooms, they have huge lobby, kitchen, common wash rooms, yoga rooms etc for group travelers. And also no TV on individual rooms, but at a common room. While we were there, climate was pleasant as in not too cold for a jacket to be worn, and not foggy at all. Hotel grounds are under utilized. No outdoor play facilities for kids. Indoor playing facility too is limited. Food quality is average or rather below average for the price they charge. Buffet is mostly south Indian dishes only. Whats below is not something directly related to the resort, and they have limited or nil responsibility on the road conditions leading to their property. Access to the place is very pathetic. Never ever follow google maps direction, if you are traveling via adimali. It will take you places, where roads were just memories , even for the previous generation. We managed to reach the place in one piece only by mere luck and some driving skills. I damaged my cars (midsize hatchback) under body, and as an icing on the top, our car body got damaged by a log which fell from another vehicle while giving side to pass by. This happened inside the resort premises, as they have really narrow roads which is meant for hardly a car.

We had a very nice individual cottage, clean and well equipped. The cottages are spread over a green garden , lost of water and very quit. To top it off an excellent pool, pool area. All very stylish. The staff in courteous, helpful and friendly. Beyond the shadow of a doubt the best option in Ayutthaya who seek friendly staff scenery, peacefulness and ambiance over extravagance and luxury.
