Glory of Alupka was obliged to nonstop activity of count Vorontsov who made it a centre of all his Crimean estates. He built a luxurious palace and a park there. Alupka today is one of the most visited places in Crimea. In this beautiful, Crimean part there is a villa "Oneiro", in translation from Greek it means "Dream". Also the Restaurant of the hotel is amazing and offers international cuisine a la card on a very high quality-level! I recommend everybody to visit this wonderful place here in Russia! This place let you forget where you are!

Nice hotel close to Vorontsov Palace
Reviewed By Sveta5You cannot miss visiting Alupka if you are in Crimea, as it is home to most beautiful Vorontsov Palace, named after its owner, Count Mikhail Vorontsov, a Russian envoy in Britain in 19th century. It was designed as a loose interpretation of the English Renaissance revival style by English architect Edward Blore. Following one story, Sir Winston Churchill became fond of this place when he stayed there during a famous Yalta 1945 conference, and had a favourite spot in the park to smoke a cigar. The hotel itself has functioned since Soviet times. It is a solid, thick-walled, high-ceiling building with spacious lounge balconies, if you are not bothered by evening music and noise that comes from people walking and cars passing by. Most tourists are Russians or Ukrainians. The cafe downstairs offers a good buffet breakfast, with a choice of freshly cooked meals, and communication was easy over booking a room.
