Bells Beach

Reviewed By 619jeffry - Essendon, Australia

Bells Beach is a surf beach, best known for the annual Bells Beach Surf Classic. It's not really a paddling beach, it's more for surfers, who love Bells. The beach can be treacherous, don't take risks in the water unless you are a strong swimmer. Bells isn't all that great to look at, it's the surf that makes it famous.

Lorne Beach

Reviewed By Crystalline4u - Traralgon, Australia

Clamber over rocks to discover mini eco systems and secret marine worlds in the rocks along the beach... it's exciting never knowing what's going to hide in the rock pools. And if you tire of trying to find hidden delights you can simply walk along the beach and enjoy the view. This is a lovely beach just to spend time on... apparently it's a patrolled beach in Summer meaning that for young families it's probably a safer time...but for someone like myself who simply plays with the edge of the waves... this is a delight all year around.

Foreshore Promenade

Reviewed By QuEee2 - Officer, Australia

When in Warrnambool you just have to take advantage of the Foreshore Promenade - it is a great walk, but it also stimulates the senses - the aromas, the seaspray, the sun, the surf, just a delightfully maritime experience...
