The tours of the caves are amazing and give so much historical knowledge! Also this is a wonderful venue for a celebration. We attended a wedding at the caves and it was magical. The service, the food, the event planning, and the setting was perfect!

My guilty pleasure. I love this place. Bartenders have an attitude and are somewhat surly, but that’s okay with me. This place is really slamming on a weekend night and a great place to spend an entire day on a February shitcold day. The Reubens are amazing. Really good bar food. Not sure about salads or anything healthy in any way. Hands down my favorite bar in Uptown.

The Loop

The Loop is a fun, casual restaurant/bar located in the North Loop of Minneapolis. We serve lunch and dinner. We have a great Happy Hour and on Friday and Saturday nights we have a DJ and dancing starting at 10:00pm. Come get in The Loop and see why we have been a local favorite since 2006.

Very enjoyable pre Twins game lunch. Restaurant is following good Covid protocols, so felt safe. Santa Fe Salad was wonderful, tasty chicken, corn relish, avocado. Juicy Loopy burger and French Dip also very good. Seasoned fries were very thin and crisp. Our server was very good and made sure we had every thing we needed. Comfortable warehouse chic decor. We will definitely be back.

Bunny's Bar and Grill

Bunny’s opened at 4730 Excelsior Boulevard in St. Louis Park in 1933. One of the most often asked questions over the years has been, “Where did that name come from?” The story goes like this… The original owner, Henry Aretz, was in need of a sign for his new bar, Aretz’s Place. However, the sign maker had a different idea. He had made a mistake on a sign that read “Bunny’s” and, not wanting to scrap the job, asked Henry Aretz if he wanted to buy a sign “real cheap.” Henry, knowing a bargain when he saw one, bought the sign, and Bunny’s was started. The Aretz family owned Bunny’s until Gary and Sherman Rackner bought the bar in 1988. Bunny’s became a Bar & Grill, with the addition of a kitchen in the fall of 1988, and continued its tradition of a place where local patrons could relax with friends, catch a game, and also have a great meal. Unfortunately, Sherman passed away in 1997 and, due to the proposed redevelopment of Excelsior Boulevard, Bunny’s had to find a new location by the end of 1998. In January of 1999, Gary brought in a new business partner, Steve Koch, and they reopened Bunny’s in its current location. We are happy to be in St. Louis Park and look forward to being a fixture in the community for many years to come. In memory of Sherman Rackner, Gary’s father and business partner, we have named the back bar “Sherm’s.” Sherm, we hope you are proud!

Bunny's is always great; everything about it is great, food, beer, ambiance, great bartenders and waitstaff. It's a fun place to go if I am alone or with friends or for a business meeting. Great menu with a variety of food including daily specials, happy hour, and late night happy hour. Menu pricing is reasonable and the staff is always friendly and the owner is always floating around and on the floor that I think is very important...
