Our tour started with the pick up from our hotel at Galle fort. Roshan was so friendly and extremely informative. Had a wonderful day with new friends, enjoying the scenery and hiking the Rainforest. This should be in everyone's list when visiting Sri Lanka. Loved the added bonus of Tea factory visit. Guide Wigitha made the day amazing. Although no rain in the rainforest ,this day made the hike a bit less slippery, the flora, fauna and the waterfall -- all made a lovely day. One of our Dreams was to swim under the waterfall, and we got a chance to do it here. Transportation was comfortable and efficient, and the lunch was delicious. Would highly recommend this tour and also this tour company.

Tigers, Elephants and big game had obviously taken the day off. We saw Peter Rabbit and his family, a tortoise breaking the land speed record, monkeys, spotted deer, a land monitor and a crocodile that was so far away that it could have been just a fallen tree. The road was bumpy and perhaps our squeaking vehicle frightened the animals away. We actually saw more animals - a whole herd of elephants, while driving from point to point.

What an experience!!, we arrived just as the elephants appeared from the jungle and watched 5 large groups go to the water. The Jeep driver got us into the perfect place for photographs, responding quickly when a female decided we'd got too close. So beautiful to watch the interaction of the family units as they got to the water.

We had a three days tour with candelabram event management. I would definitely recommend this travel agency to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. You will be able to visit 3 ancient kingdoms and capitals of Sri Lanka on this all inclusive day tour from Negombo. The kingdom of Dambadeniya was at its peak during the mid-thirteenth century, especially during the reign of King Parakramabahu II.
